šŸ²Le Mirepoix: The Base of every Sauces, Soups, and BouillonsšŸ²

A very simple yet essential foundation of any sauce, soup or bouillon. It will add structure to your preparation. A key tool of the Chef that you are!



Ingredients:

  • 1 onion

  • 1 carrot

  • 1 branch of celery


Making your Mirepoix:


It's very simple:

Add the diced onion to the pan in which you will be making your sauce

When the onions are translucid: add the sliced carrot and the sliced celery

Just wait for it to cook a little bit


You're done!

Simple, but essential!
